You will be very comfortable in our air-conditioned rooms, all with ocean view patio or balcony, fridge, coffee maker, ceiling fan and hair dryer. Our villas and bungalows are nothing short of superb, some indeed luxurious, and some with private pool.

Long Island is uncrowded, socially stable and peaceful. It represents the "old" - the "Out Island" ways, hardly touched by modern tourism. About 3500 inhabitants reside in some 35 quaint villages and prosperous farming towns. Points of interest are plantation ruins and Indian caves, historic churches, salt salinas, fish and shrimp farms, and pineapple plantations.

Air Service

Stella Maris Resort Air Service routinely provides Nassau, Great Exuma and other Bahamas island per seat and per charter air connections to Stella Maris International Airport for Stella Maris Resort guest and other island passengers, on request.  Flight times adjust to passengers’ schedules, but no Out Island night time flying is permitted!

Hotel arranged service to the Stella Maris Airport is easily confirmed when you make your hotel reservation. Flight bookings must be accompanied with all details of inbound and outbound flights. Flights are restricted to daylight hours. For example, you should be scheduled to arrive in Nassau by 2:00pm (3:00pm George Town) in order to connect through to Stella Maris Resort Club on the same day. Flying time Nassau/Stella Maris = 1 hour. George Town/Stella Maris = 20 minutes. Since hotel service is not scheduled service, sometimes waiting periods cannot be avoided. Whenever suitable, hotel arranged flights may be partially or totally replaced with regular airline, or commuter service. Your return flight home should be scheduled to depart Nassau or George Town no earlier than 10:30 am.

Deposit: 100% of one-way rate at time of booking; 50% of roundtrip rate at time of booking.

Cancellation: Two weeks prior to departure for full refund. No Show passengers forfeit deposit. Late arrival due to other airline service will not affect this policy.

Departure/Arrival taxes are not included in hotel arranged flight rates.

Luggage: Advise excess of 50# per person in advance. Please avoid packing large/hard suitcases.
