Getting There:
Grand Bahama has an international airport and you can fly there directly or take a connecting flight from Nassau International Airport.
Direct air service to Freeport is available from Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach , Orlando , the New York area, Atlanta and Charlotte, NC.
Transportation from the airport to Pelican Bay at Lucaya is available via taxi as one exits the Customs Lounge. The one-way fare for two persons in a taxi is $19. Each additional person is $3 per person. Golf bags are extra. Limousine transportation is also available at a fee ranging from $60 one-way for two persons in a car.
Driving Directions from Airport to Pelican Bay (Distance 8 miles):
- Exit the International airport.
- Turn left and carry on to the Welcome Circle.
- Travel south on The Mall Drive to the Ranfurly Circle.
- Head east on East Sunrise Highway to Lucayan Circle.
- Continue on Sea Horse Road, following signs for Our Lucaya.
- Follow sign posts to Pelican Bay at Lucaya.
